Dan Singer – Founder & CEO
Dan Singer is Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Digitalware. Dan started Digitalware in 2015 by leveraging his hands-on project experience in cybersecurity systems integration, technology industry leadership and computer hardware implementation. Applying his more than 15 years of experience in the technology industry, coupled with proven executive management experience, Dan created a company which offers start-to-finish technology solutions to fulfill customers’ business objectives.
Prior to forming Digitalware, Dan spent nearly two decades in a variety of sales executive roles, with his last position as VP of Solutions with a large IT integration firm. In this role, Dan helped grow the company’s revenues from ~$45 million to over $200 million in less than 10 years. These efforts included creating several new lines of business as well as a go-to resource for repeat business.
He facilitates company activity in multiple areas including consulting, sales, marketing, alliances and channels, and support. Dan is responsible for Digitalware’s global business units, creating products for specific markets and industries such as telecommunications, financial services, health sciences, utilities, and municipalities. Since starting Digitalware, Dan has worked diligently to exhibit Digitalware’s strategy and vision with each client interaction.
Dan holds a double major in Marketing and Management from the University of Rhode Island, College of Business Administration. He is on the New York board of ISACA Information Systems Audit and Control Association, as well as a standing board member for several private companies.
William Lieberman – CFO/COO
William Lieberman is an experienced entrepreneur who has served in various C-suite leadership and advisory roles across a wide spectrum of industries. His first venture was CMR Technologies, a FinTech company based in San Francisco serving the investment management consulting space. From CMR, William formed Xtiva Financial Systems, a software company specializing in sales compensation solutions for the financial services industry. William served as Xtiva’s CEO, building the company to over $10 million in revenues and 100+ clients. He also served as the President and CFO for Interactive Donor, a New York-based Benefit Corporation, which incentivizes charity through rewards. His latest venture is a boutique strategic advisory and financial consulting firm, The CEO’s Right Hand, which provides consulting services to startup and early-stage growth companies.
William holds double Masters degrees, one in Business Administration and the other in Computer Science from the University of California at Los Angeles. He completed his Bachelors in Computer Engineering from the University of California at San Diego.
Samer Ghanem – General Manager of Security Solutions
Samer Ghanem is an accomplished leader with over 20 years of experience in the fields of information security, risk management, enterprise architecture, and technology management.
Mr. Ghanem designed, implemented and managed the information security program for critical national security data centers which hosted the command and control centers responsible for protecting cities against cyber and physical threats. Mr Ghanem led the design and implementation of security and privacy frameworks for high-profile consumer mobile apps; and designed and implemented disaster recovery/business continuity plans for several global organizations.
Currently serving as General Manager of Security Solutions at Digitalware and providing strategic advisory for the CISO of the City of New York. Mr. Ghanem previously served as CIO and CISO at AGT International. Mr. Ghanem has also worked for BMW of North America and The New York Times. He holds an M.S. in Technology Management from Columbia University, and a B. A, in Management from the University of Alexandria, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (ISC2 CISSP); certified information systems manager (ISACA CISM).
David Kirks – EVP – Customer Success
David Kirks is the Executive Vice President for Customer Success in North America for Digitalware. His primary focus is to ensure Customer needs, desires and expectations are fully met. He is responsible for leading all programs for the Company, including executing pre-sales, implementation, and post-sales efforts.
Mr. Kirks has a distinguished career in developing and delivering complex solutions globally. Examples include:
- Army command and control systems
- B2B solutions and SOA platforms
- Large-scale systems integration
- Transformation of Abu Dhabi into a Safe City
- Transforming NY City Public Safety IT to state-of-the art systems
Mr. Kirks has spent his professional career pursuing the goal of ensuring societal groups have safe and secure environments. Only then can they pursue their dreams for prosperity and happiness for their families. This aligns with Digitalware’s belief that securing ecosystems is foundational.
David has a M.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Florida and is a graduate of the Department of Defense’s Systems Management College receiving a DoD PM certification. He also has a Six Sigma Black Belt for implementing the Agile methodology for software development at the Bank of America. David lives in NJ with his wife of more than 30 years.
